What Is a Flight Review?
A Flight Review (formerly known as a Biennial Flight Review) is required by the FAA for all active pilots. It’s not a test or a checkride—it’s an opportunity to refresh your knowledge, improve your flying technique, and discuss new regulations or procedures with an experienced instructor.
What’s Included
Your Flight Review includes:
1 hour of ground instruction – covering FAA regulations, airspace, safety procedures, and flight planning
1 hour of flight training – practicing takeoffs, landings, maneuvers, and emergency procedures
Customized training – tailored to your experience level and flying goals
Logbook endorsement upon successful completion
Need more? Add optional refreshers such as an Instrument Proficiency Check (IPC) or Rusty Pilot Recurrent Training to build even more confidence.
